The Xi’an Warriors are a super cool outdoor exhibition on the grounds of Belfast City Hall.
A ‘paint party’ was held to decorate the warriors in bright colours, spray paints, and yarn bombing.
This vibrant amazing exhibition will remain until the 3oth August.
I loved the effect and photographed some of my favourites.
These are life-size replicas of the Terracotta Warriors buried with the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang circa 209 BC.
They were created to protect the emperor in his afterlife.
The exhibition is organised by One World Creative to help showcase Chinese culture.
The original terracotta warriors were painted in vibrant colours, which have faded over the centuries.
Couldn’t resist adding a bit of yarn bombing. If you are visiting Belfast, these are well worth looking at.
I'd love to hear from you. Let me know what you think...
